Accreditation

The Bachelor in English program is offered by William Jessup University, which is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, through an agreement with Saint Constantine. WSCUC is one of the seven major regional accreditation agencies in the United States.

Accreditation is a significant consideration when choosing a college. The ability to transfer credits to another college or gain admission to many graduate schools often depends on an institution’s accreditation status. “Regional” accreditation is the gold standard. Despite the name, “national” accrediting agencies do not carry the same weight as regional accreditor.
